Happy New Year 2016

2015 whizzed past by as a mini cyclone.. I had not made a single post for the entire year! It was the year of change.. It was the year of going through the joys and struggles of new motherhood and now when I am able to have a teeny weeny bit of * control of my life.. (that is what I say so).. I would like to be back with a bang..

Introducing my Lil Nemo for whom I hope I would write the stories so that he may read it when he grow..It was only like he was  born yesterday and now he has completed 7 months..

Dear Nemo,

You rule our life with your gummy smiles and inga cries . Ah that lovely smile that you give after nursing and the gurgling laughter you make for the jokes made by your grandpa..THAT is priceless !!You love going outdoors with your grandparents despite the winter chill and give loud protests when you are brought back  home . You wave your hands as if flying when put on the bed and would negotiate so that we carry you and show you around..By the ways, what does your Poo…Baaaa..booo and aaaummm mean?

I cannot understand why you find it so difficult to fall sleep and stay asleep when your mom could sleep in the drop of a hat and sleep like a log..You have changed me so much that I can now wake up on someone’s whisper now.

You have inherited your Dad’s sweet tooth and ready to go on hunger strike until you get your sweet bites..God bless bananas , dates and jaggery.

You love your rattle game..bang so hard on yourself..Cry BOO.. and forget about it the very next moment..You love catching my nose and cheeks and scratch them as well with your fast growing nails..

You do not mind that mom goes to office as you have G’pa and G’ma to take care of you..I pray so..

You have made me a much better person  from what I was and I resolve that I try making the best of every moment ..both at work and home.
